Findlay Deck & Fence was founded in 2015 by a Findlay-area contractor who had spent years watching homeowners get burned by out-of-town crews that did not know the local frost line, did not pull the right permits, and did not stick around when problems showed up later. The goal from the beginning was simple: build decks and fences the right way, in a city worth doing right by.
Findlay is a city where people stay. The homeownership rate is high, the neighborhoods are established, and most of the people we work for have lived in their houses for a decade or more. That matters to us, because a deck or fence built for a long-term homeowner needs to last - not just look good on the day we leave.

Every project we take on gets the same treatment: proper footings, a pulled permit, and a crew that shows up when they say they will. We work all across northwest Ohio and we are based right here in Findlay - this is our community too.

We pull the permit ourselves and manage both the footing inspection and the final inspection. You never have to visit the building department or wonder whether your new deck is up to code.
